01 · Idea
One device that charges your phone and runs your Wi-Fi.
A wireless charging pad with an internet router built into the same device. The first prototype came together in 2020, as the Smart Wireless Fidelity and Charging System.
The idea underneath it was bigger than the pad. I wanted truly wireless charging: a transmitter in the room that keeps low-power devices topped up wherever they happen to sit, with nothing docked and nothing plugged in. The registered design is a narrower, related version of that idea, the charger and the router in one box.

Not my most advanced work. My first follow-through.
It isn’t the most technically demanding thing I’ve built. It’s on this list because it was the first idea I carried past a working prototype: documenting it, protecting it and asking whether someone could actually use it.
